Andy, I will miss you from work...and play. I still remember your outrageous answers when playing Cards Against Humanity for the first time ;-) and how you taught our dog to have an obsession with bananas! Matt recalls how patient and encouraging you were with him when he made his first tentative attempts at climbing, and the musical 'education' you gave him with your choice of music in the car! Yours was a life well lived and our thoughts are with Caroline and Tams. There's a poem by an RAF pilot which starts 'Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed...' I think if you replace 'skies' with 'crags' that expresses how Andy felt about his climbing. We will think of you often, and always with fondness x Jo (Mike, Matt & Kate) x
